Strive for greatness
We all want to achieve greatness in our lives. Most people aspire to be better than they are. “The greatness mentality means living a life without limits, where there are infinite possibilities. For this reason, we cannot define where greatness begins or ends. We can only strive to become better” – Vex King from his book called ‘Good Vibes, Good Life’.
People tend to confuse how to grow healthily. Comparison to others is an unhealthy way to grow. You will only aspire to be something that you believe will please others. Being a people-pleaser will never end well. Coming from someone who needs constant reminders that I can’t please everyone, I do understand the difficulty. However, we need to try daily to be brave and recognise that pleasing everyone is an impossible task. The sooner we accept that not everyone will be fond of us, the lighter the load becomes.
So, how do we grow into what we perceive as greatness? Because don’t forget, greatness for one person may not necessarily be the same for another. We are all unique and don’t share similar goals in life. However, mainstream media does make the public think that a particular image is the definition of success and greatness. But does it necessarily make that person internally happy? Most of the time, no. So don’t forget that. To move towards your aspirations and YOUR definition of greatness, your only competition is yourself. Your daily goal should be, “Be better than who I was yesterday” “If you want to be the greatest version of yourself, you have to keep the focus on your own life and goals” – Vex King.
Have yourself some self-love
You won’t get anywhere if you don’t love yourself. How are you meant to attract what you want in life, if you don’t feel as though you deserve more than what you have? A mother will have unconditional love for her child, regardless of whether they are a criminal or selfish. She will always want the best for her child. You should have unconditional love for yourself, but at the same time always strive to be a better version of you. It is only then, you can begin to attract what you want and become great.
Vibrate at the frequencies you want in your life
If you vibrate at low frequencies (generally being negative or part-taking in negative behaviour e.g. alcohol abuse or gossiping) then these are the frequencies you will attract. When you begin to show yourself self-love you also begin to vibrate at higher frequencies (being positive and joyful). So the two concepts intertwine.

This phrase from Vex King makes complete sense! It is so simple yet we fail to implement this basic fact into our daily lives. How do you attract the things you want in your life? Well, you need to vibrate at their frequencies. If you want positivity and joy in your life then you need to vibrate at higher frequencies. By doing so, you will manifest more of what you want. You will attract the things that you want in life leading to your ultimate greatness. Show gratitude for what you already have and always strive to be a better version of yourself.
